High Performance Metal Seated Butterfly Valves are designed for use in exceptionally harsh conditions with critical shutoff isolation and throttling control applications for both gases and liquids.  The aptly named Colossus is available in Double Eccentric Metal Seated, Double Eccentric PTFE Seated and Triple Eccentric Metal Seated body designs. These Firesafe Butterfly Valves are now more commonly being used over that of equivalent sized Gate, Globe & Ball Valves where weight, budget and space saving is a priority.

A single piece shaft design brings high strength and engineering with direct mount capabilities for actuation assemblies and is available in a number of materials including Stainless Steel, Monel, Duplex & Super Duplex. Stem extensions are also available for applications which require this construction.

The offset, hand polished, streamlined discs produce a much greater Cv than other butterfly valves on the market resulting in low pressure drops and reduced energy costs. Low operational and break out torque with reduced sealing face abrasion minimises the costs of gear, pneumatic and electric actuation whilst extending the life of the valve.

All butterfly valves are rigorously tested to meet ever changing industry requirements with our research and development team constantly creating design improvements to future proof the next generation.
